2 Year Warranty

FloRider warranty conditions are as follows:

  • 2 years manufacturing defect/fault
    (from date of purchase):
    - electrics
    - frame
    - motor
    - throttle
    - controller
    - gears
    - battery
    - charger

Items/Scenarios in which you will not be covered under warranty

  • Items that have been altered to other than original state of purchase will not be covered under warranty.
  • Misuse and abuse such as riding off road on dirt trails, jumping e.g will not be covered under warranty.
  • Water damage from riding through deep puddles riding on beaches in the surf and in the rain the use of any high pressure cleaning machines will not be covered under warranty.
  • Day to day general wear and tear and ageing on items included but not limited to tyres, cables, fuses, light globes, sockets, chains, wheel spokes, brake pads etc will not be covered under warranty.
  • Use of non genuine components will not be covered under warranty.
  • Rust or corrosion will not be covered under warranty.
  • Commercial use or hired out will not be covered under warranty.
  • Batteries will lose capacity over time this will not be covered under warranty.
  • If the seal on the battery unit has been tampered with or used incorrectly this will not be covered under warranty.
  • If the FloRider ebike is involved in a traffic accident this will not be covered under warranty.
  • Speeds and distance bike can travel on charged battery may vary depending on the total weight being carried and how you use the FloRider ebike.
    - We do not warranty any 'guaranteed Speed or Distance.

Warranty cover is only valid to the original purchaser and a proof of purchase document must be produced.

The warranty is not transferable to a new owner of the FloRider ebike.

Damage during transportation (e.g courier freight) will not be covered under warranty. This is insurance that must be accepted when you make an order. You are also free to collect your eBike from us! Any damage to the FloRider ebike upon opening freighted box must be photographed immediately and must be and sent to the team at FloRider within 24hrs of receipt of the eBike.

Should a component on the FloRider eBike prove to be faulty then a replacement part will be provided by the manufacturer. The component must be delivered to us and the replacement can be collected (or we can organise some delivery), at customers expense. Unauthorised repairs will not be covered under warranty. Deterioration from excessive exposure to outdoor elements will not be covered under warranty.

The warranty period is not extended in the case of a repair or replacement of components.
